Tandy could probably get him to talk about his most embarrassing moments in life. She had that ability before he even knew her name. Ty didn't like to think of what she did with that skill, wanting to believe better of her. The thought alone made him regret mentioning a condom. It could've reinforced the idea that he thought the worst of her when he really didn't. He believed she'd had a hard life since her father died but also saw her having a standard.
